Ahead of the race at the Olympic Stadium on Saturday, Nike has released an inspiration short film called “Smile”. It follows British Olympic gold medal winner Mo Farah as he undergoes a gruelling training regime, giving viewers an unprecedented insight into the runner’s journey and tough training moments that, in the end, make the final race look easy.
Narration comes from London-born spoken word artist George the Poet, who recites: “You smiled a smile that made it look easy. Made people stop and stare. The happiness you felt you gave it so freely. They would never guess what got you there.”
