Russians hackers, continuous rumors from the usual well-informed and voices even from the set… it’s getting harder and harder for TV series producers to avoid episodes leaking. As a conquence, the television network HBO, in recent months overwhelmed by this kind of leaking problems, opted to film different season finales for their successful show Game of Thrones.
How many? Four, to be specific.
Casey Bloy, president of HBO, revealed it to Entertainment Weekly:
“I know in Game of Thrones, the ending, they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that nobody really knows what happens. You have to do that on a long show. Because when you’re shooting something, people know.
So they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that there’s no real definitive answer until the end”.
There is nothing left to do than wait until the end of 2018, or even the beginning of 2019, to see the six episodes of the eighth and last season of the cult series.
