The Air Jordan 3 “Katrina” was a special edition of the Air Jordan 3 that designed by Jordan Brand for charity and relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina.
This white and red sample edition was made back in 2006 and easily became a sneakerhead favorite. The shoe is a mix of the “Fire Red” and “Cement” Air Jordan 3s, but this colorway was never available to the public, but for 2018, Jordan Brand will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan 3 with the release of the “Katrina” colorway.
The Air Jordan 3 “Katrina” comes dressed in a white, cement grey, black, and fire red color scheme. This will be the first public release and will sport “Nike Air” on the back heels.
Stay tuned for the Air Jordan 3 “Katrina” to release on May 12th at select Jordan Brand retailers and Jordan.com for $190 USD. In other news the Air Jordan 3 JTH NRG “Fired Red” is scheduled to release Spring 2018 also.
