Black Panther is about to jump a few spots in the all-time domestic box office ranking. Earning an estimated $10.2 million on Friday  and having $531 Million earned domestically this will mean Marvel’s latest film with pass both Rogue One: A Star Wars Story ($532.2M) and The Dark Knight ($534.9M) this weekend for seventh place all-time in North America.

The only film the Ryan Coogler directed film fails to beat is The Avengers that earned $623.4 Million on the charts for superhero movies, but Black Panther is set to take first place, but passing The Dark Knight already makes it the highest standalone superhero movie.

The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan showed his support for Black Panther, predicting it will take home a nomination for the film this past week.
