J. Cole recently stopped by Power 105 to chop it up with Angie Martinez in a new interview, following J.Cole’s fifth album “KOD”.

In the new interview, Drake is a subject that gets brought up and when KOD dropped, the project broke a few recrods with some of the titled being held by Drizzy on streaming platforms. Apparently, when Drake heard the news he wasn’t too pleased and hit Cole’s lines about it.

“Yeah he text me and said I hate you,” Cole said in one of the snippets played by Martinez over the air. Drake currently holds the crown for a lot of things and the record he lost to Cole was the 24-hour streaming record that added up to 36.7 million first-day streams on Spotify and 64.5 million on Apple Music, surpassing Drake’s Views by nearly one million streams on Apple Music.
