With record profits rolling in for the 112-year-old carmaker, we’re getting our first look at the upcoming 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew. Debuting at this week’s North American International Auto Show, the new truck adds a crew cab variant to the 2015 F-150 Raptor, effectively joining more space for your friends to enjoy the trucks aggressive styling with the powerful 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine’s 411 HP and 434 lb-ft of torque. Along with a rugged front, extended fenders, and a dual exhaust system, you’ll see 17-inch wheels controlled with a new 10-speed automatic transmission with four-wheel drive. A new Terrain Management System with six different driving modes – from road, to weather, mud, rock, and baja selections – is also available to choose from. The 2017 F-150 Raptor SuperCrew will go on sale this fall.
While the exterior design of the all-new Ford F-150 Raptor (SuperCrew model pictured) is about rugged capability and toughness, the interior design is about creating a comfortable place for driver and passengers to enjoy their time on- and off-road. Added content includes unique color materials and appearance levels, plus paddle shifters to manually shift Raptor’s 10-speed transmission.
