If you ever wondered what you’d get when you combined the eye of a fashion designer with the skills of an engineer and interaction designer, you’d get something as sick as this robotic LEGO mechatronic-enabled set of wearable wings. Designed by Anouk Wipprecht, the project continues her desire to create systems that tend toward AI, using the body as a “host” and able to react to the environments around them. Wipprecht’s wings are made of Mindstorms EV3 and Technic parts and can react to objects approaching the wearer.
